In addition to raising money through friends and family, Maddie went back to the middle school she attended as a child and presented her experiences to the students there. Her efforts resulted in over $1,700 in donations to support DFC projects in Kurland.
DFC was lucky to have Maddie's help with projects on the ground in South Africa, and we are so appreciative that she has taken the initiative to go the extra mile.
Oh, and she just found out that she got into Stanford University... Congrats, Maddie!! Thank you for all the amazing things you have done!!!
