When Students Take Action

It's always a nice surprise to receive donations from schools that have heard about Dollars for Change through the grapevine.  Laura and her friend, both students from Massachusetts, started a group at their school called "The Power of One: Fighting Poverty in Africa".  They held a fundraising contest between all the homeroom classes urging everyone to bring in one dollar.  Their efforts resulted in over $300 for DFC.  Thank you Laura!
