Sandy Spring Friends School Comes Back to Kurland

We were happy to welcome back Sandy Spring Friends School from DC.  Another great group of students came to volunteer with us to run programs for the children at Kurland's Primary School.  This was the third time the school sent out a group of volunteers to Kurland.  Their kids' programs  ran after school and included dance, drama, soccer, and basketball.  Not only did they contribute their time, but they came over with about 12 huge duffle bags filled with donated clothing, shoes, sports equipment, and two laptops for DFC's after school program.  It was an amazing time for all people involved and we so appreciate their continued support.  Details and pictures from their trip can be seen on their blog.
